Commission leaders say cutting deficit will hurt

Voters who demanded Washington rein in the nation’s spiraling debt are getting a message from President Barack Obama and leaders of his deficit commission: It’ll hurt.

Senate approves home tax credit extension

The Senate on Wednesday, June 16, approved a plan to give homebuyers an extra three months to finish qualifying for federal tax incentives that boosted home sales this spring.
